New Year

A new year begun, another one past

Let's hope we make the good times last

And pray that we get by in hard times, too

Wishing and hoping we don't get so blue

So for all of you dear ones, know that I care

Though I am not necessarily physically there

Know that it's true that I may wear a frown

And on occasion, I might feel rather down

But I still long to be a good and true friend

To each and to all, and to the very end!
